Kentucky Hempsters joined Historic Locust Grove on Thursday, July 21, 2016 to discuss the evolution of the Kentucky hemp industry. The lecture touched on the most influential moments in Kentucky hemp history and how they shaped the trajectory of the industry, along with how we can use those instances to also direct the industry today.
Guests also had the opportunity to check out the second hemp crop growing at Locust Grove. Last year, the site planted the first hemp plot in Louisville. This year, Kentucky Hempsters worked with Locust Grove to supply seed and maintenance for the second hemp project, in addition to collaborating on a number of events. Click here to learn more.
